Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms apply when you use NorseLift (the web app at app.norselift.com and the website norselift.com) and when you buy a NorseLift Pro subscription. Please read them before you subscribe.
1. Who we are
NorseLift is provided by SNORRE AAS IT, a sole proprietorship (enkeltpersonforetak) owned by Snorre Aas.
- Organisation number: 924 028 556
- Address: Hogstvetveien 3, 1435 Ås, Norway
- Email: support@norselift.com
"We", "us" and "our" mean SNORRE AAS IT. "You" means the person using NorseLift.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to buy a subscription.
- Give accurate information and keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can download a copy of your data at any time with Download my data in the app's Settings.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app's Settings, or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent: it removes your account and your workout data and cancels any Pro subscription. Pro ends immediately when you delete your account, and the current paid period is not refunded, unless you still have a right of withdrawal (see Right of withdrawal) or another right under consumer law. If you only want to stop paying, cancel your subscription instead. See the Privacy Policy for what is deleted and what we must keep.
3. Free and Pro
The Free plan costs nothing. NorseLift Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks the additional features described on our pricing page. We may improve, change or remove features over time, but we will not materially reduce what you have paid for during a billing period you have already paid.
4. Prices and payment
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| Monthly | USD 4.99 per month |
| Quarterly | USD 10.49 every 3 months |
| Yearly | USD 29.99 per year |
- Newcomer offer: first-time subscribers who choose the monthly plan pay USD 1.99 for their first month, then USD 4.99 per month. The offer applies once per customer.
- Prices are in US dollars. SNORRE AAS IT is not registered in the Norwegian VAT Register (Merverdiavgiftsregisteret), so no MVA (Norwegian VAT) is charged. Your bank may charge currency conversion fees.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- You pay in advance at the start of each billing period.
5. Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price for your plan, and your payment method is charged until you cancel. The renewal price for the monthly plan after the Newcomer offer is USD 4.99 per month.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry the payment for a limited period and we may ask you to update your payment method. You keep Pro while we retry. If the payment still cannot be collected, the subscription ends and your account returns to the Free plan. Your workout data is not deleted.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from Manage subscription in the app (in Settings, or on the Upgrade page at app.norselift.com/upgrade), which opens our payment provider's subscription page, or by emailing support@norselift.com.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Pro stays active until then, and you are not charged again. After that your account returns to the Free plan and your workout data stays in your account.
8. Right of withdrawal and refunds
- 14-day right of withdrawal: as a consumer you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, as described on our Right of withdrawal page, which also contains the withdrawal form.
- Immediate access: Pro starts as soon as your payment is completed. Before you can go to checkout, you must tick a box (it is never pre-ticked) confirming: “I want my NorseLift Pro access to start right away, and I understand that I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal once it has started.” We store the time and the version of this wording with your subscription (at our payment provider Stripe) and in your account, and you can see the record in Download my data. Because you asked for immediate access and acknowledged this, your right of withdrawal lapses once Pro has started, to the extent the law allows. If the law instead gives you a right to withdraw with a deduction for the period you have used, we follow the law.
- No refunds for partial periods: apart from your statutory rights, payments are non-refundable and we do not refund the unused part of a billing period when you cancel.
- Goodwill refunds: we may, at our discretion, offer a full or partial refund in other cases. A goodwill refund in one case does not create a right to refunds in other cases.
- If a payment for the current period is refunded in full, Pro for that period ends when the refund is processed.
- Your rights if the service is faulty under Norwegian consumer law are not affected by this section.
9. Price changes
We may change Pro prices. We will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect. Price changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or other people's rights when using NorseLift;
- try to access other users' data or accounts, or our systems beyond what the app allows;
- disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer or attack the service, except where the law allows it;
- abuse the Newcomer offer, gifts or referral rewards, for example by creating multiple accounts;
- resell or share Pro access commercially.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Unless the situation is urgent or the law prevents it, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close your account without you being at fault, we refund any prepaid amount for the remaining part of the paid period.
We may stop offering NorseLift. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice where possible, refund any prepaid amount for the remaining part of the paid period, and give you a way to get a copy of your data.
12. Your content and our intellectual property
Your workout logs and other content you add belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide NorseLift to you.
NorseLift, including the app, design, text, logos and code, belongs to SNORRE AAS IT or its licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use NorseLift in line with these terms.
13. Health and fitness disclaimer
NorseLift is a tool for logging and planning training. It does not give medical advice and does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified coach. Training involves a risk of injury. Check with a health professional before starting a new programme, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or are recovering from an injury, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort. Suggestions in the app, such as weights or progression, are general and may not suit you.
14. Availability and liability
We work to keep NorseLift available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee that the service is always available or error-free. Keeping a copy of important information is a good idea.
We are liable for loss caused by our negligence in line with Norwegian law. We are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, or for loss caused by circumstances outside our control. These limitations do not apply to loss caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to personal injury, or where mandatory consumer law gives you stronger rights.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we change features, prices or legal requirements. For significant changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes, you can cancel your subscription before they apply. The current version is always on this page.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Please contact us first so we can try to solve the problem. If we cannot agree, you can contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet), which can mediate, and the case can then be brought before the Consumer Complaints Committee (Forbrukerklageutvalget). Disputes may also be brought before the Norwegian courts. As a consumer you can bring a case before the court where you live, and you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
