NorseLift is a workout tracking application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

When you use NorseLift, we collect and store the following data:

• Account information — Your name and email address from Google Sign-In or email/password registration, used to create and identify your account.
• Workout data — Exercises, sets, reps, weights, workout history, programs, personal records, and body weight entries you create in the app.
• Subscription data — If you subscribe to Pro, we store your subscription status and billing cycle. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your credit card details.
• Analytics data — We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data such as page views and button clicks on our landing page and blog. No personal information is tied to this data.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the NorseLift service:

• Sync your workouts across devices
• Track your progress and personal records
• Manage your subscription status

We do not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

NorseLift uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — Authentication (Google Sign-In) and data storage (Firestore). Your workout data is stored securely on Google Cloud infrastructure. Firebase Privacy Policy

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled via Google Sign-In with secure token-based sessions. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

Data Retention

Your workout data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Settings menu, or by contacting us at privacy@norselift.com.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your workout data

Cookies

NorseLift uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication and app functionality. Google Analytics 4 may use cookies for anonymous usage analytics on our landing page. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Children's Privacy

NorseLift is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
